I've had comiXology for several months now, but I've kind of been neglecting it。 I had picked up a few Marvel/DC comics I'd been interested in and read some of those, but I was definitely sleeping on the manga selection。 Last night, I decided to see what was available, because I've got to stop spending so much money on manga right now (especially with so many unread on my shelves, as I've been collecting some series but not reading them until they're complete)。 I was familiar with Nogiri's other I've had comiXology for several months now, but I've kind of been neglecting it。 I had picked up a few Marvel/DC comics I'd been interested in and read some of those, but I was definitely sleeping on the manga selection。 Last night, I decided to see what was available, because I've got to stop spending so much money on manga right now (especially with so many unread on my shelves, as I've been collecting some series but not reading them until they're complete)。 I was familiar with Nogiri's other title, That Wolf Boy is Mine!, but I haven't read it。 This one sounded cute, and I ended up reading the first two and staying up until 2am。 This was super cute! The art is really nice--it's mostly simple, but the lines are clean and I really like the character designs。 The art for the landscapes, buildings, and other places around town are great--really detailed and lovely。 The story is also simple enough because the story is short, but the pacing is well-done。 I really feel for Kei; I can see where the romance is going to go, but he's a good boi and I could honestly root for him or Mitsuru。 。。。more

Mako moves across Japan to live at the same boarding house that her childhood friend Kei resides to join his school's Photography Club。 Along the way she meets Amemura who hates to have his picture taken, but it just so happens that he is her muse。I bought this along with That Wolf-Boy is Mine because I tried the first chapter of each and they were both short series that I could complete in one go。 I honestly prefer this one to That Wolf-Boy is Mine because it resolved really well。 After finishi Mako moves across Japan to live at the same boarding house that her childhood friend Kei resides to join his school's Photography Club。 Along the way she meets Amemura who hates to have his picture taken, but it just so happens that he is her muse。I bought this along with That Wolf-Boy is Mine because I tried the first chapter of each and they were both short series that I could complete in one go。 I honestly prefer this one to That Wolf-Boy is Mine because it resolved really well。 After finishing my first four volume series and seeing this at a three volume, I was hesitant。 I normally think that three volumes isn't enough for you to really get in and care about the characters, but in this instance I was wrong。 The pacing was perfect and there wasn't this feeling of insta-love like you'd expect。I think that's what sets shoujo aside from other young adult genres and this is most likely a cultural thing。 You have the crush and the love, but it's not final。 The end goal to these stories is them confessing their feelings together and going out and you're witnessing all the stolen moments that makes your heart skip a beat。 It's really refreshing。 I'm glad I picked up this series。 。。。more

I thought it was very nice that the main character doesn't really know who she loves at first, but this series mostly focuses on the romance and not much else。 I thought it was very nice that the main character doesn't really know who she loves at first, but this series mostly focuses on the romance and not much else。 。。。more

I read this because at the time I was really into photography and playing around with my camera, and my friend told me about this series thinking I would enjoy it。 I love the art style, but that was pretty much it。 The premise is cute but the actual story is lackluster and boring; I found myself dreading having to finish it, but forced myself to finish anyway because I have a bad habit of finishing a book whether I like it or not。 The pacing is also slower than a snail's pace and it seemed to la I read this because at the time I was really into photography and playing around with my camera, and my friend told me about this series thinking I would enjoy it。 I love the art style, but that was pretty much it。 The premise is cute but the actual story is lackluster and boring; I found myself dreading having to finish it, but forced myself to finish anyway because I have a bad habit of finishing a book whether I like it or not。 The pacing is also slower than a snail's pace and it seemed to lack everything a slice of life had that made it interesting。 。。。more

So much better than I spected, it’s cute and so far, and has this element of photography world well incorporated in the story that it seems like it won’t be just another basic slice of life high school manga

Well after reading this book, I love photography like Mako and we both just jump to things without asking because when I’m taking a photo, I love to capture the moment。 But turns out one of the characters has a bit of a hard past in the book。 Sorry no spoilers。 But I think there might be a love triangle forming in the 2nd book。

Lexi Shroll

This is so so sooo cute! Omg。 Kinda really bummed that it’s only three volumes long。 Idk how that’s gonna work, but hopefully it’ll tie up nicely。 Also that ending! Kei really said you can’t have her >:EBruh that made me cackle for sure
